Frequently asked questions

What is the role of my designated company administrator?

‍Each week, your company administrator logs into the client portal to view the weekly safety talk video for the week. From the portal, the administrator chooses who the weekly video is distributed to by either selecting "Send to all Employees" or "Send to a Group". "Groups" of employees can be created by the administrator, if desired, to have more control over what videos are viewed by which employees.

Your administrator is also able to facilitate group training sessions by selecting "Group Training". When selecting "Group Training" for a particular video, the administrator selects which employees are present for a group training session delivered via TV, computer or tablet. When the administrator selects individuals for a group training, the individuals selected are populated and recorded on a training roster with the topic listed and date of training. The administrator certifies that the employees selected are present for the group training session.‍

Do employees need to keep track of usernames and passwords?

‍Your company designated administrator will have a username and password. The recipients of the video safety talks will not need a username or password to receive and view the training videos.

If desired, other administrators can be assigned within your company. Additional company assigned administrators will also have a username and password.

How is training recorded when an individual watches a video?

‍Your employee's first and last name is mapped to their e-mail address. When an employee watches a video e-mail that is sent to their e-mail address listed in the portal, a training record is generated listing the topic of the video, what is covered in the video, the employee name and date of training.

The record is generated after the video has been watched in full. If an employee does not watch the video, they will not be recorded as having trained on that particular topic.

How is training recorded when a group of employees watch a video?

‍Your administrator is also able to facilitate group training sessions by selecting "Group Training". When selecting "Group Training" for a particular video, the administrator selects which employees are present for a group training session delivered via TV, computer or tablet.

When the administrator selects individuals for a group training, the individuals selected are populated and recorded on a training roster with the topic listed and the date of training. The administrator certifies that the employees selected are present for the group training session.
